Beta 0.4 Intermediate Access 2


Hey! It's me again, and today I have lots of cool stuff to announce!

I have changed the version of Unity engine to 5.6.1f3 because I figured out how to do the navmesh runtime scan and the overall performance will improve in 5.6.1f3.

A new mode, Custom! I will add the map builder in the next update or intermediate access. In custom mode, you can select preset maps (will be changed), then place units you want to spawn. Then you can run the game both in the battle or in spectator. Note that AI in this version is wayyy smarter and can fight independently, finding enemies, avoiding them, creates a lot of uncertainty in each match. Currently I only coded the units from stage one (they will improve), and some are work in process. Only one preset map is currently available: Ram Spike(the image you see above), but I'll add the others soon. 

Even though I changed the textures for Stage one, I still find it too simple, I improved it. Stage 1 will be polished again and again and again until it is a fun, and not so easy quality campaign with a good story. Textures are improved in this update, I'm planning to add the smart AI from custom mode to some of the levels, and some hints so you know how to play each level. Map design will also improved to the quality level like RamSpike (which will also improve)

The next special ability developing in progress is a laser, but I'll show you how it works in the next sneak peek. 

Also another cool news: CubeKiller will release on Steam, but It has to be made until it at least qualifies Early Access. So yes even for Early Access 1 I'm only 3/10 done.
